Wild Women - Women's Wellbeing Sessions
Our Women's Wellbeing sessions invite you to unwind and reconnect with nature whilst simultaneously developing outdoor skills. You'll have the opportunity to join in with nature-based crafting, seasonal growing, campfire cooking, fire-lighting, whittling, friendly conversation or a chance to relax in the hammock. You are welcome to come for friendly conversation with like-minded women.
Open for women for 18 years up. These sessions will run on the first Saturday of every month, between 1pm-3pm. |

Please wear appropriate clothing, including full-length arms and legs and closed-toe shoes. You may get a little muddy, so old shoes and clothes may be preferred. We have limited shelter during rainy days but there is an undercover area for you to leave your belongings, as well as toilets and handwashing facilities available. As with all outdoor activities, there may be some risks. Prior to each session, we conduct a safety sweep taking into consideration all current conditions. All staff have completed their safeguarding training and have the relevant enhanced DBS check. The Women's Wellbeing sessions will proceed in all weather conditions, except those deemed dangerous, such as lightning or high winds. You will be notified if the session has been cancelled because of this, with further instructions. You may like to bring a drink or snack with you. We are a nut-free site. We will also provide hot drinks, and aim to cook something tasty on the fire each session. |
