Hello! Welcome to A Breath of Fresh Air. Here we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from nurture in nature. Based in beautiful North Devon, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we have lots of wild spaces to explore from woods and moors, to beaches. 

Through a collection of companies we provide a range of outdoor experiences and training, fostering a connection to nature through programmes including Forest School, Curriculum-based Outdoor Learning, Play based Learning and Coastal School. We deliver to schools and groups, communities, public events and activities and more! We love to learn, discover and explore through child centred, holistic, play based pedagogy.

We are part of the Cambium Sustainable Network of trainers and provide a range of accredited outdoor learning courses, including Forest School Leader, Outdoor Learning Practitioner and are working towards delivering a Coastal School Leader Programme.

Nature Play Holiday Clubs
These sessions are all about enjoying nature, through activities such as den building, fire lighting, gardening activities, campfire cooking, crafts with nature, using hand tools and team games - never a dull moment in our outdoor based setting!

Our social aim is to make outdoor provision accessible to all. We operate as a not for profit company to promote opportunities for nature connection through outdoor play, outdoor learning opportunities and community projects.

Nature Play!

Sessions for pre-schoolers encouraging play in nature. These sessions focus on holistic, child-led activities and include opportunities to explore, play, use basic tools and cook snacks over our campfire!

Birthday Parties 

Looking for a birthday party with a difference? Outdoor parties with a range of themes. Can include campfire cooked lunch/tea. Suitable for toddlers and up! All parties include a campfire cooked Hot Chocolate and Marshmallow (or snack of your choice).
