Hello! Welcome to A Breath of Fresh Air. Here we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from nurture in nature. Based in beautiful North Devon, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we have lots of wild spaces to explore from woods and moors, to beaches.
Through a collection of companies we provide a range of outdoor experiences and training, fostering a connection to nature through programmes including Forest School, Curriculum-based Outdoor Learning, Play based Learning and Coastal School. We deliver to schools and groups, communities, public events and activities and more! We love to learn, discover and explore through child centred, holistic, play based pedagogy.

Providing outdoor learning for all
Our social aim is to make outdoor provision accessible to all. We operate as a not for profit company to promote opportunities for nature connection through outdoor play, outdoor learning opportunities and community projects.
We work with schools to provide as many young people as possible with a range of outdoor learning experiences, including Curriculum Based Outdoor Learning, Coastal and Forest School, Afterschool Clubs and site development.
New for 2025 - we are developing our Birthday Party and Outdoor Holiday Club provision.

We are part of the Cambium Sustainable Network of trainers and provide a range of accredited outdoor learning courses, including Forest School Leader, Outdoor Learning Practitioner and are working towards delivering a Coastal School Leader Programme. |
