Wyre Forest

Our sessions are based at Forestry England’s Wyre Forest, Bewdley, nr Kidderminster, DY14 9XQ. Not all Sat Nav's take you to the main car park but it is well signed from all directions.

At the centre you'll find full facilities, toilets, café, play park and lots of fabulous woodland to explore. The Community Discovery Centre can be booked at an additional charge and can provide an indoor base for your party and an area for you to provide your own party food. The café is also available for party catering. Please enquire for more details.

​PLEASE NOTE: There is a charge for car parking that applies to all visitors.  If you are a regular visitor make a saving by becoming a Forestry England Member. Membership  gives free parking for a year and great discounts from partners at the forest and other retail outlets and 10% of our regular sessions, click the link to find out more.
Learning at Wyre
As Learning Partners to Forestry England we provide a range of formal and informal learning opportunities. We have an extensive schools programme, please follow the link to find out more about how we can enhance your school visit.  We provide a range of hands on, outdoor learning, forest experiences to explore and discover Wyre Forest. Bringing the curriculum to life, your forest experience will be enhanced by SMSC outcomes whichever session you choose. These outcomes include fostering an appreciation of the environment, an understanding of the wider world around us and a respect for living things.
The Discovery Centre can be booked at an additional charge.
We are more than happy to tailor sessions to meet your needs and get the most from your visit.
Prices start from £4.50 per head for a half day session and £6.50 a head for a full days session.
Family Events at Wyre
Throughout the year we put on a range of events aimed at families and children.  Includes seasonal activities, holiday clubs, toddler sessions and more. Birthday Parties at Wyre 
Fancy a birthday party with a difference? A forest party includes lots of outdoor play, den building, muddy play and a campfire cooked snack or upgrade to a campfire cooked Forest Feast. Prices start from £95 and we can tailor parties to meet your chosen theme if required. these can be delivered at Wyre or a venue of your choice.
Groups at Wyre 
From uniformed groups to large family groups we are happy to tailor sessions to meet your needs. Please use the comment form to get in touch and we can discuss your requirements in more detail. Prices start from £75 for a two hour bespoke session.
